Episode 8 | Round Four

Four new dances are introduced to the program as the contestants compete in the country two-step, Charleston, bolero and Lambada.

Episode 9 | Round Four: Results Show

Shakira performs two songs and the pro dancers give a preview of next week's Argentine tango and paso doble. The stress of the competition is seen in a taped segment, along with visits from the children of four contestants.

Episode 10 | Round Five

The contestants compete in the Argentine tango and paso doble, and also perform the hustle in the season's first group dance.

Episode 11 | Round Five: Results Show

The program features two performances by Norah Jones, as well as a special dance tribute to Michael Jackson and a look behind the scenes at the contestants' daily routines on the day of a taping.

Episode 12 | Round Six

The contestants compete in the jitterbug and waltz in the first double-elimination week of the season. They also face off in a marathon-style mambo competition, and preview the following night's dance-off.

Episode 13 | Round Six: Results Show

After a night of Waltz, Jitterbug and the first competition Mambo group routine, the remaining nine couples face their first Dance-Off double elimination as the eighth and ninth couples eliminated from the competition are announced.

Episode 14 | Round Seven

In addition to their individual dance, the seven contestants split into two groups to compete as teams, paso against tango.

Episode 15 | Round Seven: Results Show

In the second consecutive week of double elimination, two couples meet in a dance-off to save one of them. The show also features performances by Colbie Caillat and Rod Stewart, as well as a new song performed by Mark and Derek.

Episode 16 | Round Eight

In the quarterfinals, the five remaining contestants each perform two individual dances for the first time - a ballroom dance, then a Latin dance themed to a particular era.

Episode 17 | Round Eight: Results Show

One of the five contestants is eliminated, and Michael Bublé and Susan Boyle perform. The 'Design-a-Dance' created through viewer voting is presented, and Kenny Mayne and Jerry Rice provide another installment of DanceCenter.

Episode 18 | Round Nine

In the semifinals, each of the four contestants performs three individual dances - a ballroom dance, a Latin dance, and also the knock-out dance they've been rehearsing for a month. Background features on all four are also included.
